From 6 January 2016 onwards, SENT Landfill at Tseung Kwan O will cease to receive domestic, commercial and industrial waste, and only accept construction waste. The Administration has formulated a Waste Diversion Plan to assist the trade and the public to adapt to the changes, with an aim to ensure proper handling of waste.
